Bar Divani Executive Chef Jeff Baird moved from Grand Haven to Grand Rapids in the early 90’s specifically to attend the Culinary School at GRCC. With that background and 23+ years in the local restaurant scene he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the kitchen at Bar Divani. He has honed his skills at well-known Grand Rapids establishments such as Gibson’s, The Peninsular Club and Thornapple Village Inn along with SanChez and Rockwell/Republic. Chef Jeff is a part-time punk rocker who is rocking our kitchen and will give your taste buds something to sing about!
Wendy Alexander • Event Coordinator
Wendy Alexander, a native of Grand Rapids, joined Bar Divani in the summer of 2014 as Event Coordinator assisting in the planning and coordination of The Gallery’s weddings, social occasions, non-profit and corporate events.
Wendy has a passion for hospitality and service, which she realized from her experiences in fine dining. She is a natural in the event industry. Her warm and enthusiastic personality, along with flawless precision and attention to detail, has helped contribute to her success and client satisfaction. Her vision and passion for the mission that perfection is truly in the details have set a high mark in Bar Divani’s commitment to excellence.
Wendy has a Bachelor of Arts in French and English from Aquinas College. She enjoys spending time with her family, visiting vineyards and wine tastings, dining out with friends and dabbling in real estate.
